Content on this album was recorded in cafes, abandon classrooms, trails in the mountains of Tennessee, airport bars in Atlanta or Chicago, and hotel rooms in Detroit, Florida, Salt Lake City, to name a few.

Ryan Boos is a freelance writer, typically recording in transit, opting for mobility, and the energy in public spaces. He has been releasing music under the name Nomadic Firs since 2011, with his first record coming out on cassette tape format via Crash Symbols. He has a long list of artists and producers who have remixed his music, most notably ODESZA.

Adam Stolz is a Chicago resident and DJ, who loves to spend his time combing through an array of record & second-hand stores. He is also a media supervisor for global marketing & creative agency called Havas. Over the years he has been involved with throwing events and promoting the underground music scene in Chicago. His first release was in 2007 on local techno imprint, Prosthetic Pressings. Currently he shares a studio space with Real Estate Records & Elephathaus label boss, Tim Baker.
